This client came to us with a steeply sloped backyard tucked into a beautiful wooded setting. Instead of working against the natural landscape, we embraced it—reusing existing boulders on the property to create a design that feels organic and perfectly at home in its surroundings.
Derek enjoyed the challenge of blending the new landscape seamlessly with what already existed at the front of the home. He carefully selected low-growing plantings that complement the setting while remaining easy for the homeowners to maintain.
A winding paver sidewalk now guides you from the front of the home to the backyard and outdoor living space, creating a natural flow through the landscape. To finish it off, landscape lighting was added to highlight the new plantings and extend the beauty of the space well into the evening.
