Meet the Tussey Landscaping Team
Steve Martin
Steve Martin is one of the founder/owners of Tussey Landscaping. He brings over 30 years of experience to the company. Steve along with his brother Dennis Martin were the force behind what Tussey has become today. Steve now operates the business and is heavily involved in the day-to-day operations along with design and sales.
Matt Martin
Matt Martin grew up around the beginnings of Tussey Landscaping. He's been involved all his life, and brings an orderly touch to the business. With a unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship, he leads the rest of the crews in the day to day hustle that comes with running a seasonal business.
Derek Matthews
Derek Matthews joined the team in 2004, and holds a Bachelors degree in Landscape Contracting-Design/Build from The Pennsylvania State University. He is also a member of The American Society of Landscape Architects and The American Society of Horticultural Sciences. Since 2007, Derek has been involved in the design/sales, layout, scheduling and field supervision of projects.
Eric Harteis
Eric Harteis holds a Bachelor's Degree from Penn State in Landscape Design/Build. He first joined the Tussey team in 2017 working in the field on various jobsites and homes. Eric now is a part of our Design and Sales Team, where he has been helping to design and create gorgeous landscapes in and around the Central Pennsylvania area.
Daniel Treon
Daniel started with us in 2006 so he is one of our longest working employees. Daniel is one of our main fiberglass swimming pool installers and generally works on our larger scale projects as well. He loves being outside and thrives on the fact that no two projects are ever the same, along with the
organizational needs of being a leader. He guides his crew with a vast knowledge of all things that Tussey Landscaping encompasses, whether it be hardscape, landscape, water features, or exquisite outdoor living spaces. He thinks that making client dreams come true is just icing on the cake.
Ben Zimmerman
Ben started with us in 2018 and is now one of our premiere water feature builders! He has a great eye for what will look the most stunning on each of the features and projects that he builds. Our homeowners love his personality and work ethic. Ben also hosts our YouTube channel giving our clients valuable (and usually hilarious) information and building tips about the jobs that his crew is working on.
Dustin Nolt
Dustin started with us in 2016 as a field laborer. He has now worked his way to being a Project Foreman. Dustin is one of our main swimming pool installers. He loves the creativity and intricate design that hardscape brings. Dustin leads his team with a quiet demeanor and often can be heard whistling while he works.
Reynold Witmer
Reynold started with us back in 2013 and he now leads one of our jobsite crews. His clients adore him and his kind nature. As an artist and musician, Reynold enjoys the composition that each project brings together with the combination of stone, water, and landscaping. We call him our resident Philosopher because he is a fountain of knowledge about almost all subjects, especially history.
Jeff Treon
Jeff is our Service Manager here at Tussey, and he’s been with us since 2011. If our clients ever have an issue with their project after installation, they will usually hear from Jeff. He and his team do a superb job of finding and fixing any issues that they may encounter. We like to say that Jeff is our “utility man,” as he can do it all and does do it all with grace and a little joke on the side.
Keith Sensenig
Keith is somewhat of a newcomer for us as he started his career with us in 2021. Keith oversees our Premiere Care and Water Feature maintenance. He and his crew keep our clients’ landscaping and ponds looking impressively pristine. He brings great joy to our team with his antics and charisma.
Devin Clapper
Devin started with us in 2019 while he was a senior in high school. He is one of our Premiere Care Maintenance Technicians. Devin loves doing our pond clean outs each Spring. He enjoys the instant gratification of seeing those water features come to life once they're fresh and rejuvenated.
