The homeowners needed an outdoor living space spacious enough for their growing kids to play, relax, and make lasting memories. Derek designed the perfect backyard retreat—one that balances fun, functionality, and seamless integration with the surrounding landscape. The design provided ample space for friends and family, the seating wall creates a natural gathering spot, while the large patio accommodates lounge chairs for the moms and convenient spots for the kids to stash their towels and toys. Their elevated hot tub is positioned on the upper patio, offering a relaxing escape while providing a full view of the entire backyard —perfect for unwinding without missing out on the fun. The pool house was designed with functionality in mind, the pool house includes plenty of storage, keeping pool essentials tucked away, plus a small outdoor kitchen for effortless summer entertaining. Thoughtful landscaping and aluminum fencing tie the entire space together, ensuring privacy while maintaining the woodland charm. And the best part? Thanks to the pool heater and automatic cover, this family can enjoy a swim even as the crisp fall air rolls in.
