Transforming a Sloped Backyard into a Family-Friendly Outdoor Oasis

This project was an exciting transformation! The homeowners had a beautifully sloped backyard, but once they started a family, they realized they wanted a space that was both functional and fun—a place to relax, entertain, and make memories together.

Our designers worked creatively with the existing patio connected to the back of the house, seamlessly incorporating it into a brand-new design. The result? A full backyard makeover that checks all the boxes!

We installed a stunning fiberglass swimming pool, complete with a natural boulder feature that the kids love to climb, sit, and play on. Surrounding the pool is a spacious patio, offering plenty of room for games, lounging, and soaking up the sun.

A custom fireplace with a mounted TV sits under a beautiful wooden pergola, creating the perfect spot to watch movies fireside. The family now has distinct zones for dining, lounging, and play, all designed with comfort and functionality in mind.

To address the yard’s natural slope, we constructed a retaining wall accented with gorgeous natural stone stairs, making the transition between spaces both practical and visually stunning. We also added a bubbling boulder water feature to bring a sense of tranquility to the area.

Finally, integrated outdoor lighting and a high-quality audio system tie everything together, making this backyard a true extension of the home—perfect for day or night enjoyment.
