This charming home already featured a beautiful backyard filled with established plantings—an inviting setting where the homeowners love to host gatherings. However, the existing patio lacked the space and functionality needed to truly enjoy the area.
Eric developed a thoughtful design that brought everything together beautifully—balancing function, aesthetics, and long-term ease of care. Our crew installed a significantly larger rear patio, creating a comfortable and highly usable outdoor living space with ample room for both dining and relaxed seating.
To improve flow and accessibility, we added a brand-new, meandering walkway that connects the front of the home to the backyard—something that didn’t exist previously. This not only enhances convenience but also creates a welcoming journey through the landscape.
We also removed overgrown shrubs and groundcover to open up the space and introduce a more diverse selection of plant material. The result is a refreshed landscape that offers seasonal interest while being much easier to maintain.
To complete the transformation, we incorporated landscape lighting to highlight key features and extend the usability of the space into the early mornings and evenings.
