When our clients moved into their newly built home, they knew they wanted more than just a backyard—they wanted a place to connect with their children and grandchildren. What started as a blank slate is now a vibrant outdoor living space where memories are made and everyone loves to gather.

Derek designed a stunning, functional layout that truly makes the most of the property. Since the backyard borders marshy terrain, we installed a retaining wall and elevated the space to create a solid foundation for entertaining and everyday enjoyment.

From the moment you arrive, a beautiful paver driveway leads the way, gently curving through thoughtfully designed landscaping to the heart of the backyard. Once inside the pool area, you’re welcomed by the tranquil sound of a custom water feature—an inspired, last-minute addition that transformed a simple garden bed into a focal point of peace.

The fiberglass swimming pool sits just below the spacious paver patio which is perfectly positioned for relaxing poolside or enjoying a meal with family. Along with the pool, a cozy hot tub pairs beautifully with a sleek fire table and ample space for seating, making it the ultimate year-round hangout spot.

The outdoor kitchen is a showstopper—built for both functionality and fun. Whether the pergola shade is open or closed, it’s the perfect place to grill and chill no matter the weather.
